Our People
Some of the 13th House Black Cord Elders listed below offer classes and workshops, and some are available for Spiritual counselling, mentoring, and apprenticeships. They represent a diverse and eclectic variety of backgrounds and practices that are a result of many years of individual and collective experience and exploration of the Craft.

Alison Skelton, Founding Priestess, Victoria BC
Alison has been practicing divination, spiritual healing, and energy work, within the context of Wicca and Shamanism since 1977, and in 1984 she was initiated as a Witch and a Priestess of the craft. Since then she has been designing, performing and facilitating regular seasonal and personal ritual and rites of passage. In 1988 she received her BFA in Printmaking at the University of Victoria. In 1993, along with eight other Wiccan Priestesses, she co-founded the Thirteenth House Mystery School Tradition. Under the banner of “SoulCraft” Alison has fulfilled her purpose as teacher, consultant, and mentor. She teaches seminar classes and workshops on a variety of subjects including psychic self development, Tree of Life Creative Consciousness journeywork, and nature based Animistic spirituality. Her healing practice combines extensive experience as a Priestess of the Craft with core Animistic methods and Faerie doctoring. This frees her to work intuitively and creatively, without being restricted by any rigid protocols, combining a variety of metaphysical approaches to address the needs of her clients. As an artist, she explores the relationship between magic and creative self-expression as a means to heal and transform. She has exhibited internationally and maintains a studio in her Victoria B.C. Canada home. Her own art is a reflection of spirit as well as an expression of the magic that she perceives in nature, in the souls of the subjects of her portraits, and in the sacred order of the universe itself.
